OPEN CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS

UPDATE 12/17/18 - At this time we do not have any open anthology calls. We have our hands full with manuscripts that will keep us busy for most of next year already. We are not closing manuscript submissions at this time, but to be honest we will not be able to accept many new ones until we finish with the incredible projects we currently have accepted.

 - submissions are closed for this anthology - HORROR COLLECTION: CLOWNS AND DOLLS

Now accepting short story submissions for a horror collection featuring stories about clowns and dolls. Someone asked if mannequins are okay. Probably! Show me what you got! Prefer stories between 6,000 words and 10,000+ words. Title is tentative and will most likely change once the collection shapes up. Will accept between 4 and 8 stories, depending on the length of the chosen submissions.  Artwork is already in progress. Keegan Strickland, the artist who did the cover for our title The Bacchanal, is doing this one as well.

Optional story ideas: Anything that is a corruption or a twist on things  traditionally considered innocent or childlike, such as games of hide and seek or imaginary friends. Please, no sexual abuse or child abuse for these stories. If you have a story like that to tell we have plenty of options for true story collections featuring your stories of abuse. No, this collection is for entertainment, so stay away from abuse. If enough stories that fit this theme come in to make it a separate collection on it's own, we will do that. If not, they will be considered for this collection.

AMERICAN MURDERS: A LOOK AT A FEW OF AMERICA'S SERIAL KILLERS AND SPREE MURDERERS
Looking for stories about American serial killers or spree murderers. Please query first with your story idea to be sure the one you are writing about is not one that we already have a story on.   This is a nonfiction collection. Word count, approximately 10,000 words.
