MY REVIEW: 4 stars. I think this bible is great for keeping at home and using as a study bible. The cover is thin paperback and will get damaged and torn easily if this bible is carried back and forth to church. Nothing beats a traditional leather cover for that! I do like this paperback cover better than the hardcovers I’ve gotten in the past, though. It makes it less bulky, easier to handle.
The interior paper is regular paper and not the super-thin bible pages, so I think this one is going to stand up to regular usage better.
Study notes on the bible times and culture are located at the bottom of each page. I really like these! I also like the color interior. The pictures and maps are clear and easy to see in full color, and the colored text boxes make it more user friendly to me. The text is smaller than normally found in novels, so I did find my eyes straining after a short time reading, which doesn’t normally happen, so this is a drawback. Overall, though, I am pleased with this bible.
