ABOUT THE BOOK: Follow the White Rabbit into this imaginative coloring book inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, featuring intricate pen-and-ink drawings by acclaimed artist Amily Shen. Meet the Cheshire Cat, attend the Mad Hatter's tea party, and play croquet with the Queen of Hearts in this evocative tale that invites you into a strange and beautiful new world of coloring.

MY REVIEW:  5 stars.  I’ll be honest, I started to rate it lower than this simply due to the sheer number of adult coloring books flooding the market, and the number of them that are specifically based on Alice in Wonderland.  I found about 15 of them when I searched Amazon for this title.  One of the things as a publisher that I look for is how many books similar to this one is already on the market and what makes this one different?  However, I began thinking about it and I considered the fact that once someone finishes a coloring book, it’s done.  It’s not like a novel that one can go back and re-read and enjoy all over again.  So having many of these types of books on the market makes more sense because you would need to buy a new one once you were finished with one.  Therefore, with that mindset, I decided to give this one 5 stars because it really is a nice book.  The drawings are intricate and the story line that goes along with the drawings is a nice touch.  As a therapist, I am definitely aware of the therapeutic benefits that go along with coloring.  I have been utilizing coloring with my adult group therapy sessions for years (before it became popular with laypeople) and I am aware of the therapeutic benefits and stress relief that coloring provides.  I recommend this book.
