About the Book
Hair Suite is the sequel to Hair Power and continues Quiti’s story in exciting fashion. Different alien-human hybrids are introduced and the two hesitantly enter a friendly competition for Earth before it’s cut short by a much bigger threat. Together, Quiti and her friends, new and old, must find a way to save the planet they call home by negotiating wormholes, alien civilizations, and a few surprising twists.
My Review
3 out of 5 stars
If you liked the first book than this one will not disappoint. As strange and enticing as the last, Hair Suite introduces many new and interesting elements. The world becomes even more detailed and expansive with different aliens and cultures thrown into the mix. It’s definitely a wild ride.
Although there are times of great action, the pacing in the novel is a bit stunted by multiple chapters devoted to characters that have just been introduced and haven’t earned the interest of the reader yet. These chapters can be a bit painstaking to get through as they divulge much more than they need to about the new characters all at once.
Whether you want to begin the series here or continue it, both would be just as easy as there is plenty of explanation to catch the reader up on what they either missed or forgot. Hair Suite is a good continuation of the series and leaves the reader wondering what the next step is and where the next book is.
