About the Book:
In the beginning there was truth and light, man thrived peacefully. Then came the darkness. The Fallen descended among mankind as a plague on this earth, spreading forbidden knowledge and evil in their wake. Amid their reign of terror, there were those that hid away the dark secrets of man's origin. For centuries, these guardians have held evil at bay. Now only a shadow of their former union, their strength and faith have faltered and the old ways have all but been lost by the passing of time.
The end of days is upon us. The Fallen have gathered their armies and have begun unleashing plagues of evil and destruction. The Beast has heard their battle cry, the ground trembles as he struggles to fee himself from his chains. Damnation is at hand, the Apocalypse has begun. Who among us remains to restrain the Beast within his prison and defeat the army of demons that are to come?
My Review:
3 stars. A fast paced, action-filled read on a classic theme. The writing style is nice, the characters are memorable; other than some grammatical errors and repetition there’s not much to fault this on. If you like heavily biblical fiction, I would suggest giving this a try.
