AnxieTea comes in a glass bottle
and your hands are baseball bats;
your grasp fails you
as shards slice your palms.
AnxieTea tastes of blood from
your overly bitten tongue;
it tastes like yesterday's lunch
that was never fully swallowed.
AnxieTea is unlike any other drink:
it drowns out all other flavors.
You drink and drink,
but are never truly refreshed.
AnxieTea burns down the throat
and rests firmly in the chest;
the flavor remains in place
for unending days of thirst.
AnxieTea comes in one flavor:
Bitter.
